A somewhat longer list than the usual 4 or 5, adding a number of environmental risks. The usual ones:

  1. Use alcohol moderately
  2. Decrease sun exposure
  3. Get moving
  4. Shed pounds (3 and 4 are related)
  5. Don’t smoke
  6. Eat a nutritious diet (related to 4)

And the environmental ones:

  1. Test the water for arsenic (for rural dwellers)
  2. Decrease workplace exposure to carcinogens
  3. Decrease high-heat cooking (not just barbecue)
  4. Limit radiation exposure
