Computers in the exam room: Good and bad setups

For those interested, some good observations on room design and the placement of computers. Interestingly, both at the Blood and Marrow Clinic and our family doctor’s office, good layouts are used that allow the doctors to consult the computer for lab results or enter information, without losing the face to face interaction. And all of my doctors do spend the majority of their time with me in the face to face mode.
