Not sure whether it is really as bad as this survey by the Lymphoma Coalition indicates (only 19 percent correct diagnosis based on initial symptoms), but given that we all experience some swelling on lymph nodes during colds and the like, perhaps not so surprising. And most lymphomas I believe are diagnosed at relatively late stages. Quote:
“Increasing education and awareness of lymphoma is critical when dealing with a complicated cancer like lymphoma,” says Dr. Laurie Sehn, chair, BC Cancer Agency Lymphoma Tumor Group, Clinical Associate Professor, University of British Columbia, Canada and Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for the Lymphoma Coalition. “People must understand that any ongoing symptom may not be normal and they need to be persistent with their concerns when speaking to their doctor.”

very good thanks admin
I agree. My grandson’s 4th scan still show para-aortic nodes of 22mm. We will be seeing the physician early in 2013. I hope it is not serious.
