A bit of a long article on sunscreen. The essence:

  • use sunscreen that has both UVA and UVB protection or ‘Broad Spectrum’
  • be generous and reapply often
  • zinc oxide or titanium oxide based sunscreens may have the least potential for harm compared to sunscreen based upon oxybenzone or retinal palmitate (RP)
  • consider SPF clothing if sensitive to the sun (my addition)
